- On September 9, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a statement stating that it had made a final positive ruling on the third countervailing sunset review of Circular Welded Carbon Quality Steel Pipe imported from China. The ruling stated that if the countervailing duty in this case is cancelled, it will result in subsidies for Chinese products involved in the case continuing or recurring at a rate of 29.83% -620.08%.
