With the official launch of the F700 ERW pipe mill and the DN4220 ultra-large diameter spiral pipe and anti-corrosion production line, Jiangsu Youfa has now entered a new stage of global leadership in the welded pipe industry.
LIYANG, China – May 6, 2026 – Youfa Group recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new F700 high-frequency straight seam electric resistance welding (ERW) pipe mill and officially launched the DN4220 ultra-large diameter spiral pipe and anti-corrosion production line at the Youfa Jiangsu Base.
The event brought together nearly 200 participants, including the leadership team of Jiangsu Youfa, leading industry experts, and key partners, gathering in Liyang, China to witness this historic moment. The new facilities mark a major step forward in positioning Chinese welded pipe manufacturing as a global leader.
Industry Expert Highlights Technical Breakthroughs
Mr. Wu Yaohua, Deputy Director of the Expert Committee of the China Steel Structure Association and former Deputy Chief Engineer of the Central Research Institute of Building and Construction Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony.
He noted that Youfa's F700 ERW pipe mill adopts a cold-hot compound forming process and an online induction heating tempering process, successfully overcoming long-standing technical bottlenecks in the industry.
In parallel, the newly launched DN4220 ultra-large diameter spiral pipe and anti-corrosion production line is capable of producing high-precision pipes in DN4220 size, with a wall thickness of 30mm in X80 grade material, combined with exceptional anti-corrosion performance.
Mr. Wu emphasized that these two technological breakthroughs demonstrate the core strength of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" and are set to lead the direction of global welded pipe technology innovation.
